A 3 year old girl presents with severe wheeze

A 3 year old girl presents with severe wheeze. She responds poorly to nebulized salbutamol and atrovent. A salbutamol infusion is commenced at 1 mcg/kg/min.

She is intubated for hypoxia and exhaustion.

She is known to have episodes of wheeze, usually responsive to salbutamol.
